As a Christian, I have always wanted to help people be their BEST self…!
One of my jobs was re-training adults, of all ages, that were on disability. I produced powerful resumes that led to interviews and eventually full-time employment. I will never forget when a truck driver asked me how I was going to find him a job, when all he knew was how to drive a semi truck. I smiled and gave him an encouraging wink. It wasn’t long before he was presenting a new resume to a local truck driving school. His 30+ years of experience landed him a job as an instructor for one of the leading truck driving schools!
After graduating from high school, I worked various office jobs, as I climbed the administrative ladder. I knew I wanted to get a degree, but life got in the way. At age 40, I achieved my goal and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an Emphasis in Public Relations. This opened many doors of opportunity. While working a full-time job, I began teaching in adult education on a part-time basis.
